Mat Müller is Director of Business Development and Open Innovation strategy at DuPont Pioneer. His focus is on the acquisition and integration of technology and innovation into DuPont’s Ag Biotech and Crop Genetics portfolios, the enablement and support of research scale, and the extension of technology developed by DuPont scientists into adjacent spaces.

Prior to his current role, Mat has occupied functions in science, operations, licensing and business strategy. Prior to Pioneer, Mat served in various capacities for Verdia, Inc., Maxygen, Inc., the University of California, the Swiss National Foundation for Scientific Research and the University of Lausanne. Mat’s education includes a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Lausanne, and an MBA from the California State University at Hayward. He is the author of numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and several patents.
